How to Request Account Deletion

You can request the deletion of your Makeup DNA account and all associated data by following one of the methods below:

Option 1: From the App

1. Open the Makeup DNA app
2. Go to your Profile tab
3. Tap "Delete Account"
4. Confirm the deletion when prompted

Option 2: Via Email

Send an email to support@makeupdna.ai with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.

Data That Will Be Deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:

• Your account profile and email address
• Uploaded photos and selfies
• Your makeup analysis results and preferences
• Quiz responses
• Authentication tokens and session data

Data That May Be Retained

Certain data may be retained for a limited period as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:

• Transaction records: Purchase and subscription history may be retained for up to 180 days for tax and accounting compliance.
• Fraud prevention data: Limited data may be kept for up to 90 days to prevent abuse.

Processing Time

Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once your account and data have been deleted.

Please note that deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. If you have an active subscription, please cancel it before requesting deletion.
