By accessing or using the Makeup DNA website at makeupdna.ai and any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Makeup DNA ("we," "us," or "our"). We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are under 18, you may not use the Service under any circumstances.

We reserve the right to disable any account at any time if, in our sole discretion, we believe you have violated these Terms.
Access to premium features requires a paid trial followed by a recurring monthly subscription. We offer the following trial plans:
How billing works: You pay the trial fee up front today. When the trial ends, your card is automatically charged the full monthly subscription price, and the same amount is charged every month after that until you cancel. The trial fee and the monthly subscription price are different — both are shown on the checkout page before you pay.
Example: If you select the 7-day trial in EUR, you pay €3.95 today. On day 7, your card is automatically charged €29.90. Your card is then charged €29.90 every month after that until you cancel.
To avoid being charged the monthly price, you must cancel before the trial period ends. Cancellation is described in Section 7.
All prices are displayed in your local currency and include any applicable taxes. We may offer introductory or promotional pricing from time to time.
Automatic Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each monthly billing period at the then-current price unless you cancel before the renewal date. You authorize us to charge your payment method on file for each renewal period.
Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time. Any price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing period. We will provide you with reasonable notice of any price increase.
Mobile App Subscriptions (Apple App Store): When you subscribe through the Makeup DNA iOS app, the following auto-renewable plans are billed directly by Apple:
Mobile App Subscriptions (Google Play): When you subscribe through the Makeup DNA Android app, available plans and pricing follow the same auto-renewable model and are billed directly by Google. Local prices may vary by region.
Mobile Auto-Renewal Terms: In-app subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal charges are processed within 24 hours before the end of the current period. To manage or cancel an in-app subscription, go to Settings, Apple ID, Subscriptions on iOS, or Google Play, Subscriptions on Android. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
Web vs. App Pricing: Web subscriptions purchased via makeupdna.ai and in-app subscriptions purchased via the iOS or Android app are separate products with different pricing structures and billing terms. Web subscriptions follow the trial-then-monthly model described above; in-app subscriptions follow the App Store or Google Play auto-renewal model. Purchasing through one channel does not grant access through the other unless you sign in with the same account.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe and Revolut, both PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processors. The processor used depends on your currency and region.

Not all payment methods are available in all countries. The methods you see on the checkout page are the ones available to you. We do not store your full credit card number or payment details on our servers. All payment information is handled directly by our payment processor in accordance with their security standards. Your payment may be subject to additional verification such as 3D Secure (Visa Secure or Mastercard ID Check).
You can cancel your subscription at any time directly from the app:
If you purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play, you must cancel through your device's subscription settings (App Store → Subscriptions, or Google Play → Subscriptions) — we cannot cancel store-billed subscriptions on your behalf.
If you cannot access the in-app cancellation flow for any reason, contact us at support@makeupdna.ai and we will cancel your subscription manually.
Upon cancellation:
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. The 30-day window starts on the date you make your initial trial purchase (not the date of your first monthly renewal). Within those 30 days you may request a full refund of any amount you have paid us — including both the trial fee and the first monthly renewal, if it has already been charged — by contacting us at support@makeupdna.ai.
Refund requests made after the 30-day period will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion. Refunds, if approved, will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
If you purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play, refunds are governed by the store's own refund policy and must be requested directly from the store; we do not have the technical ability to refund store-billed purchases.
Your Photos: By uploading photos (including selfies) to our Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process, store, and use those images solely for the purpose of providing our services to you. This includes sending your photos to third-party AI services for makeup look generation. You retain all ownership rights to your original photos.
Photo Privacy: Your photos are stored securely and are not shared publicly or with other users. We do not use your photos for advertising, marketing, or any purpose other than providing the Service to you. You may request deletion of your photos at any time.
AI-Generated Content: Makeup looks and images generated by our AI based on your photos are created for your personal use. You may save and share your generated looks for personal, non-commercial purposes.

All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to the website design, text, graphics, logos, icons, tutorials, AI algorithms, and software, are owned by Makeup DNA or its licensors and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Makeup DNA and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content, recommendations, or analyses.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Makeup DNA and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from:

This includes changes to features, content, pricing plans, and supported payment methods. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Mandatory consumer protection rules of the country in which you reside continue to apply where they grant you greater protection.
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days, it shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Republic of Lithuania, subject to any mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules in your country of residence.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also be entitled to use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal, and enforceable while preserving its original intent.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Makeup DNA regarding your use of the Service and supersede all prior and contemporaneous agreements, proposals, or representations, whether written or oral.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we may also send you a notification via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
